Zane M. Heidlebaugh

YORK- Zane Michael Heidlebaugh, 72, of West Manchester Township, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon Ann (Lentz) Heidlebaugh. The couple had been married for 44 years.

Mr. Heidlebaugh was born in York on November 9, 1951, the son of the late Paul and Edyith (Sheffer) Heidlebaugh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents/adopted parents, Chester and Louise Heidlebaugh. He was past president of CR Heidlebaugh and Sons Appliances in West York before moving to Florida and working for ECM for 30 years.

Mr. Heidlebaugh was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in York. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing in Ocean City, MD.

Mr. Heidlebaugh leaves a daughter, Tiffany Michelle Heidlebaugh of Cummings, GA; two stepdaughters, Tiffany Counts and Kristi Byerts, both of York; as well as numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, William G. Heidlebaugh and a sister, Bonnie Heidlebaugh Jacobs Miller.

Services will be private with burial in Mount Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements.
