Dover- Wyvon was as unique as his name. He marched to the beat of his own drum, and those drums could be heard booming from his truck for miles away. Wyvon was an individualist and something of a rebel, but the United States Marine Corps accepted the challenge of Wyvon’s enlistment and turned out a proud Marine in 1994.
Although he was a quiet man of few words, you could always hear him coming down the road. He spoke softly, but he liked his heavy metal loud. He was bound to become hard of hearing, and when he opened his Sound System Business, Wyvon Audio Installations, it seemed like he might bring half of York County with him. Wyvon’s business reflected the mechanical know how he got from his grandpa, and the creativity he got from his parents.
He was introverted and often quite reserved, but his quiet smirk hinted of his humor. He was thoughtful and sentimental. He loved his music, guns, hot peppers, his family, and his friends!
Wyvon passed away at the age of 49 on October 11, 2025. He is survived by his wife Susan Hall, his parents, Gerald Rice, and Barbara Witman. His sister and brother-in-law Calyn and Paul Williams.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, with the service starting at 11:30 AM at the Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road in York, Pennsylvania. Full military honors will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard following the service. Send condolences at HeffnerCare.com
