William Roy Neuer, Jr.

WILKES-BARRE - William Roy Neuer Jr., 58, of Courtdale, passed away peacefully on Friday evening at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by loving family. Born in Wilkes-Barre, on October 16, 1951, he was the son of the late William R. Neuer Sr. and Rosemary (Feist) Neuer, Courtdale. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and graduated from Luzerne County Community College. William was the former co-owner of the Lake Ariel Hotel and the Drive In Movies, Kingston. He also was the former manager of Hogan's, Kingston. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Stacy Golightly and her husband, Kirk, Kingston, Melissa Neuer, Wilkes-Barre, a son, William R. Neuer, III and his wife Rhonda, Larksville, 4 grandchildren, Carsyn, Derek, Brandon, Joshua. A private Memorial Service will be conducted at the family's convenience. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, is in charge of arrangements.
