William N. Fried

RED LION – William N. Fried, 82, passed away Wednesday June 25, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Bernice H. (Beard) Fried. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with The Rt. Rev. Barry E. Yingling officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Monday and 1-2:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born August 20, 1931 in York a son of the late Allen and Mamie (Young) Fried, he retired from Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. Bill had been a member of Red Lion American Legion. Mr. Fried is survived by a daughter, Darlene Rabenstine of Spring Grove; four grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and his friend, Frances Hilbert of Dallastown.
