William J. Glaser, Jr.

Pottsville- William "Bill" J. Glaser, Jr., 69, of Middletown, DE, passed away at his residence on Monday morning. Born in Pottsville on August 21, 1940, Bill was a son of the late William J., Sr. and Kathleen Somers Glaser. He was a graduate of Nativity BVM high School, Pottsville. He worked for Phillips Van Heusen, Ridgewater, NJ, for over 40 years until he retired in 2002. Bill was a former member of the former St. Francis De Sales Church, Mount Carbon. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janet R. Taylor Glaser, of Middletown, DE; his two daughters, Theresa A. LoCastro, wife of Thomas, of Carol Stream, IL and Karen M. Berezansky, wife of Steve, of Newark, DE; his two sons, David T. Glaser, husband of Karen, of Fenton, MI and William J. Glaser, III, husband of Allison, of Bethlehem, PA; his seven Grandchildren, Steven, Andrew and Zachary Berezansky, Christina, Kimberly and Brian LoCastro, and William J. Glaser IV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Church, 4th & Mahantongo Streets, Pottsville. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. until time of Mass at the Church. Interment will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery # 3, Pottsville.
