William A. "Bill" Gotwalt

York—William A. “Bill” Gotwalt, 48, passed away Wednesday, April 01, 2026 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the Heather L. (Winland) Gotwalt to whom he was married for 22 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held 3:00PM, Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant, Amy M. Favorito. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00PM, Saturday at the funeral home. Military Honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.

Born June 01, 1977 in York, he was the son of Tony A. and Kathy S. (Ness) Gotwalt of Dover

He was employed with Penn Power Group – York Haven Branch as a DDC Technician for the past 19 years.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Shiloh American Legion – Post 791. He was also an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing.

Mr. Gotwalt is also survived by one daughter, Mya Gotwalt of York; one brother, Dan Gotwalt of York and one sister, Sherry Cooper of York and several nieces and nephews.
