William C. Friese, Sr.

RENOVO - William C. Friese, Sr., 76, of E. Renovo passed away Tuesday evening, February 10, 2015 at his home. He was born January 29, 1939 in Renovo a son of the late Merrill and Bertha (Rupert) Friese. William worked as a foreman for P.P.& L. in Washingtonville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles in Renovo. Surviving are two sons William C. Friese, Jr. of E. Renovo and Kory L. Friese of Stonington. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Daryl Friese of Cross Fork two sisters Kathryn Friese of Beech Creek and Betty Marshall of W. Brandywine, PA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Burial will be private at Hayes-Fearon Cemetery, Beech Creek. There will be no public visitation. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
