William D. "Bill" Berger

DALLASTOWN- William David “Bill” Berger, 65, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at his residence.

Bill was born in Fort Thomas, KY on February 15, 1961, the son of Georgia June (Groeshen) Berger of South Carolina and the late Everett Raymond Berger. He retired from Black and Decker in Towson, MD after over 20 years of service in Supply and Demand Planning.

Bill was a 1984 Graduate of The University of Delaware. He was a handyman, who enjoyed working on classic cars, lawn mowers and small equipment. He was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed working on houses and restoring bicycles. He enjoyed the beach, camping and hiking. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan and NASCAR enthusiast.

Bill leaves a daughter, Amanda E. Benjamin and her husband Kevin; three sons, Ryan W. Berger of Elkridge, MD, Brenden T. Berger and his wife Autumn of Elkton, MD, and Kyle E. Berger and his wife Molly of Sykesville, MD; as well as eight grandchildren, his ex-wife Carolyn M. Berger of Bel Air, MD; his mother, three brothers and four sisters.

Services will be private. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is honored to serve the family.
