Wayne E. Gentzler, Sr.

Dover- Wayne E. Gentzler, Sr., 83, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in York. He was the husband of Patricia J. (Harman) Gentzler. The couple celebrated 66 years of marriage this past July. Born November 21, 1933, Wayne was the son of the late Paul and Earlene Gentzler. He worked as an inspector for BMY until his retirement. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements. In addition to his wife, Mr. Gentzler is survived by a son, Wayne E. Gentzler, Jr. of Thomasville; a sister-in-law, Rose Stockdale of York, and dear family friend, Lois Groff of Dover. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by a son, Dean A. Gentzler.
