Walter Fleming Miller

MONTOURSVILLE - Walter Fleming Miller, 77, died on Monday, October 22, 2007 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville. Walter was born on August 13, 1930 in Williamsport and was a son of the late William Albert and Marion Ruth (Fleming) Miller. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a truck driver, a member of Calvary Methodist Church in Williamsport and enjoyed water skiing and boating. Walter is survived by 2 sisters; Ruth M. and her husband Lyle Miller of Montoursville and Shirley A. and her husband Jerry Beardsley of Loyalsock Twp., six nieces; Diane Dunne, Susan Gerber, Sandra Graham, Karen Fischer, Lori Swisher and Jodi Miller, four nephews; Lyle Miller, Jr., Michael Miller, Timothy Miller and Mark Miller, four great nieces, 7 great nephews, 2 great great nieces and five great great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Edward L. and Robert G. Miller. Services will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family. The family will provide the flowers. Arrangements are by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA.
