V. Romaine (Nelson) Wisotzkey

YORK - V. Romaine (Nelson) Wisotzkey, 86, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Rest Haven - York. She was the wife of Leslie I. Wisotzkey to whom she was married for 64 years on January 19, 2010. Funeral services and burial will be private at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born October 16, 1923 in York a daughter of the late James D. and Helen (Fidler) Nelson, she had worked at the former Peoples Laundry in York City and for York Caramel Co. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wisotzkey is survived by a son, Leslie I. "Skip" and wife Peggy Wisotzkey of York; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Waltersdorf of Abington, MD and Doris Berkheimer of Thomasville.
