Treva Mae Platts

YORK - Treva Mae (Babner) Platts, 97, formerly of Millsboro, DE; passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Rest Haven – York. She was the wife of the late Samuel R. Platts. Born May 18, 1920 in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Daisy (Street) Babner, she was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mrs. Platts had retired from Dentsply, Inc. Mrs. Platts is survived by a son, Duane M. Jacobs and companion Kay Mullins of Red Lion; a daughter, Robin R. Platts of Baltimore; two grandchildren, Melissa and husband Matthew Schlenker and Shannon and wife Melissa Jacobs; and four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jacob, Spencer and Garrett. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
