Timothy C. “Chief” Kohr, 70, of Red Lion, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Middletown Home, Dauphin County.
Tim was born on December 14, 1955 in York, a son of the late Robert P. and Kathryn E. (Seiple) Kohr. He was a 1974 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Tim spent much of his career at Bentzel Construction Co., Kinsley Construction Co., and Stewart & Tate, Inc., where he ultimately retired, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and expertise in the field.
He was a passionate lover of the great outdoors and found solace and joy in activities such as hunting, fishing, gardening, and farming. These pastimes not only provided him with relaxation but also allowed him to connect with nature, fostering a lifestyle rich in simplicity. Tim’s true pride and joy came from his daughters and family, who were central to his life. He treasured every moment spent with them, nurturing their dreams and sharing in their accomplishments.
Tim is survived by two daughters, Jolene N. and husband Hugh Lloyd of Vieques, PR and Renae L. Kohr and her significant other Jamie Doig of Red Lion; a grandson, Avery Hewitt; his brother, Matthew P. Kohr of Red Lion; and nephews, Clint Kohr of Dallastown and Jesse and wife Alex Kohr of Craley. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert M. Kohr and James P. Kohr; and his two beagles, “T-bone” and “Sarge”.
A Celebration of Chief’s Life will be held at a later date. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is honored to serve the family.
