Timothy Allen Lambert

THOMASVILLE – Timothy Allen Lambert, 63, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at York Hospital after a brief illness. He was married to his beloved wife Diane M. (Robinson) Lambert for 42 years.

Born December 12, 1959 in York, a son of the late Mary A. (Miller) and Robert F. Lambert, Sr., he attended Central York High School. Throughout his career, Tim worked at Doe Spun, FormTech, Reardon Metal Products, and York International. He loved all animals and had many beloved pets. Tim was an avid supporter of the SPCA’s Trap/Neuter/Release program for stray cats and gave dozens of stray cats a better life by being neutered.

In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by three brothers, Michael E. Lambert of Emigsville, Robert F. Lambert, Jr. and wife Ticia of York, and Mark A. and wife Lori Lambert of Emigsville; three sisters, Diane E. Hildebrand of York, Rebecca A. and husband David Minteer of Bear, DE, and BethAnn and husband Bryan Flohr of Dover; a brother-in-law, Guy Stambaugh; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte A. Stambaugh; and a niece, Amanda Hildebrand.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
