Thomas W. Schaale

FELTON - Thomas W. Schaale, 79, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at his home, with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Beverly “Anne” (Miller) Schaale, to whom he has been with for 37 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Certified Celebrant Allison Duke officiating, accompanied by full military honors from the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

Born April 15, 1943 in York, Mr. Schaale was a son of the late George L. and Mary E. (Graybill) Schaale. Mr. Schaale was a 1962 graduate of William Penn High School, and served in the Navy from 1963 to 1967. After his time of service, Mr. Schaale was an electrician with IBEW Local 229 for over 35 years. Mr. Schaale was an avid boater, fisherman, and a very knowledgeable craftsman. In his free time, he loved going to breakfast with his buddies, traveling to different casinos across the United States, and taking the dogs for walks. Most importantly, Mr. Schaale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Schaale is survived by his children, Shane T. Schaale and his wife Lynn, Vicki Cox and her husband Mark, Brant Crumbling and his wife Maria, Mindi Sier and her husband Daniel, and Tracy Bollinger; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandchild, Ryan; three brothers, Robert, Sam, and Paul; and a sister, Norma Schaale.
