Thomas L. Shue

RED LION- Thomas L. Shue, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Catherine R. “Cathy” (Stack) Shue.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito officiating the service.

Born on January 8, 1956 in York, he was the son of the late Donald and Janet (Fornwalt) Shue. During his career he worked at DuPont electronics and as an electrician technician for Stewart Connector for 16 years until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed forging, woodworking, and camping and above all shopping for new toys, tools, and gadgets.

In addition to his wife, Cathy, he is survived by two daughters, Jaimee L. Wallerius and husband, Mark E. of Hellam and Jessica E. Shue and husband, Andrew G. Keppel of Edgewater, MD; two step-daughters, Catherine L. Reigle of Carlisle and Robin J. Fetter and husband, Michael of Shenandoah; eight grandchildren, Scott T. Garner, Grace N. Garner, Oliver M. Keppel, Michael Fenicle, Sarah Fenicle, Peyton Fetter, Chelsea Lane, and Aubrey Pooler; and two sisters, Sandra Greenplate and husband, Nevin of Seven Valleys and Judith Reed and husband, Steve of Sunbury. He was preceded in death by his daughter Melody N. Garner.
