Thomas George Nally

YORK- Thomas George Nally, 92, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Joann L. (Slothower) Nally. The couple wed on July 30, 1973.

A graveside service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on January 12, 1931 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late George and Margaret Nally. Thomas was a security guard at Globe Security until his retirement.

Mr. Nally served our country in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 in the Korean War. Thomas was a member of the VFW Post 8951 in York.

Along with his wife, Joann, Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas “Butch” Nally and his wife, Debbie of McClure; daughter, Kathy Ragosta and her husband, Tony of York; four grandchildren, Kyle Nally, Jason Nally, Daniel Tome and Amanda Tome; five great grandchildren; and close friends, Sharon and Chris Streibig of York New Salem.
