Thomas B. Sharp

Thomas B. Sharp POTTSVILLE-Thomas B. Sharp, 84, of Silver Creek, NY, passed away Friday at his residence. Born in Sagon, PA on January 11, 1924, he was the son of the late Thomas B. and Ella Lewis Sharp. Mr. Sharp worked as a steel worker for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Lackawanna. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara (Bowen) Sharp, who died in 2004; his sister, Ethel Ellinger. He is survived by his three sons, Bertram T. Sharp, Forestville, NY, James A. Sharp, of Womelsdorf, PA and Richard R. Sharp, of North Ft. Myers, FL; a brother, Arthur Sharp, of Indiana; 6 Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. from the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. and also on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
