Terry E. Mundis

CRALEY- Terry E. Mundis, 80, died on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Linda L. (Frey) Mundis to whom he was married for nearly 60 years.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend James Lewis officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Craley Cemetery.

Born on October 14, 1944 in Lower Windsor Twp., he was the son of the late Eugene O. and Gladys (Craley) Mundis. Terry was a machinist at Caterpillar, Inc. until his retirement. After retiring, he worked at York Manufacturing and then for Gilbert & Gilbert Auctioneers, Inc.

Terry was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect. He was the past treasurer for Craley Playground, past President of Craley Cemetery and served on the Craley Days Committee. He was also very active in helping to restore his childhood school, Martinsville Schoolhouse. In addition, he helped three of his grandsons with Eagle Scout projects.

Along with his wife, Linda, Terry is survived by his son, Brian Mundis and his wife, Stephanie of York; four grandchildren, Benjamin Birkett of Baltimore, Christopher Mundis of York, Joshua Mundis of York and Nathan Mundis of York; sister, Lona Myers of Red Lion; son in law, Gary Birkett of York; brother-in-law Ernest Frey Jr (Pat) of Florida; and niece Pamela Harris of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lora Birkett.
