Terry Lee Bentzel

YORK-Terry Lee Bentzel, 59, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Angela Kay (Nichols) Bentzel. The couple celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on June 25, 2022.

Mr. Bentzel was born in York on May 23, 1963, the son of the late Robert Murray and Carolyn Mae Bentzel. He worked as an independent contractor.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as riding his Harley and four wheeling, but most of all spending time with his family.

Mr. Bentzel leaves a daughter, Kaylee Mae Bentzel of York; two sons, Shawn Michael Ness of York, and Tyler Lee Lerman of York; a grandson, Aries Kingston Ness-Hoffheins; and an uncle that was raised as his brother, Raymond Clayton Bentzel. He was raised by his grandparents, the late James S. A. Bentzel and Dorothy M. Bentzel; and was preceded in death by a sister, Robin.

Services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements.
