RED LION- Teddy L. Saylor, 81, of Windsor Township passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Brenda I. (Eveler) Saylor. The couple was married on July 23, 1966.
Teddy was born in Martinsville on October 11, 1942, the son of the late Preston E. Saylor, Sr. and Ethel M. (Crawford) Saylor. He retired from Amp, Inc. Following his retirement, he founded Universal Dent Repair, II, Inc. in Red Lion.
Teddy was a member of Shrewsbury Assembly of God Church and a member of Gideon’s International. He worked with the Lower Windsor Area Historical Society, where he was involved with restoring the Martinsville one-room schoolhouse. He enjoyed travelling to Florida for the winter and dining at Lion’s Pride Restaurant with his family and friends.
He leaves two daughters, Saundra S. Croyle and her husband Scott of Pittsburgh and Karen S. Muller and her husband Daniel of York; four grandchildren, Emily Brown and her husband Logan, Caleb Muller, Christopher Muller, and Dylan Croyle; a great grandson, Thaddeus Brown; a brother, Daryl Saylor and his wife Jane, and a sister-in-law, Janet Saylor. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Preston L. Saylor, Jr., and Allan Saylor.
A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with Pastor Mark Fair officiating. Viewings will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Shrewsbury Assembly of God, 234 N. Main Street in Shrewsbury and on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 224 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
