Sylvia M. Strasbaugh

DOVER—Sylvia M. (Uffelman) Strasbaugh, 89, passed away Monday, December 04, 2023 at Hospice & Community Care—Mt. Joy. She was the wife of the late William E. Strasbaugh to whom she was married for 45 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born April 30, 1934 in Spring Grove, she was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Gladys N. (Sterner) Uffelman.

She was employed with Minnich’s Pharmacy for several years as a retail clerk.

An avid reader, she also enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching television.

Mrs. Strasbaugh is survived by one son, Jeffrey A. Strasbaugh and his wife, Jennifer of Dover; one daughter, Vicki L. Morningstar of York; three grandchildren, Jill Sturgis, Zachary Strasbaugh and Rylie Strasbaugh; two great grandchildren, Kyle and Gavin Sturgis. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney W. Strasbaugh.
