Suzette Y. Ness

ABBOTTSTOWN – Suzette Y. (Snelbaker) Ness, 53, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Bayview Health Center, Milford, DE. She was the companion of Steve Sipe.

A viewing will be held from 1-3:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 12379 Hively Road, Brogue, PA 17309.

Born May 6, 1970 in York, a daughter of the late Darlene Y. (Urey) Grothe and the late Lee F. Snelbaker, she was a 1988 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Suzette has worked at Glatfelter Insurance Group for the past 25 years.

Ms. Ness is survived by a son, Kyle M. and wife Jessika Shultz of York; a daughter, Katie Y. and husband Jimmy LaBelle of Parkesburg, PA; two granddaughters, Rylee Jade Shultz and Madison Kyle Shultz; two brothers, Terry L. Snellbaker of Delaware and Jay Rohacek of Brogue; two nieces, Olivia Hull and Lacy Leisey; and two nephews, Randy Woodward and Tanner Snelbaker. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Ben Woodward.
