Susan Marie (Ogden) Gilbride

THOMASVILLE -Susan Marie (Ogden) Gilbride, 53, died Friday, August 14, 2009 at her residence after a two year battle with head, neck, and oral cancer. She was the loving wife of Patrick Michael Gilbride to whom she was married for 7 years, but was a couple for over 25 years. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born August 27, 1955, in Arbutus, MD, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Betty J. (Seaton) Ogden, she was a 1974 graduate of Lansdowne High School in MD. Susan enjoyed reading, planting various types of flowers, and watching the Baltimore Ravens. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kristin Marie Gilbride, of Thomasville; a brother, Robert J. Ogden and wife, Ivette of FL; a sister Sharon D. Walker and husband, Harry of Eldersburg, MD; niece, Jeanette; two nephews, Harry "Bunky" and Samuel; and her dogs, Harley and Chloe.
