Sue C. Helm

WINDSOR- Sue C. (Coleman) Helm, 83, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her residence. She was the wife of Donald C. Helm. The couple celebrated over 40 years of marriage.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Sue’s obituary at HeffnerCare.com. Certified Celebrant Allison R. Duke will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York.

Sue was born in Camp Hill on March 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Harry Coleman and Mildred Bowman. In the past she had worked at Key Plastics in Winterstown and the former Shoney’s Restaurant in York.

Sue had attended Windsor Assembly of God and volunteered with their Missionettes program. She was a 1958 Northern High School Graduate. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Sue leaves a son, Franklin J. Helm of Mount Wolf; six daughters, Crystal L. Helm of York, Tina L. Vaughn of Carlisle, Lorrie J. Simmoneau of Dillsburg, Kimberly L. Shelley of Camp Hill, Sue L. Helm of Mount Wolf, and Jennifer R. Gruver of York; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Patsy Wheeler.
