Stewart W. Wilhelm, Sr.

Stewart W. Wilhelm, Sr., 83, of York, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Concordia at SpiriTrust Sprenkle Drive. He was the husband of the late Diane L. (Brannon) Wilhelm.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Rd., Sykesville, MD. Family and friends are encouraged to meet at the entrance of the Memorial Park at 11:45 AM on Friday. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is honored to serve the family.

Mr. Wilhelm was born on March 13, 1943 in Baltimore, a son of the late Walter E. Wilhelm and the late Esther V. (Lehr) Overton. He was a welder with Precision Components Corp., Voith Hydro, and later retired from Svedala Industries in York. Mr. Wilhelm was a member of the Hawks Gunning Club and enjoyed being outside fishing, boating, and golfing.

Mr. Wilhelm is survived by a son, Steven A. and wife Kelly Wilhlem of York; three grandchildren, Lea R. Wilhelm, Darrin T. Wilhelm, and Alexandria R. Miller. He was preceded in death by a son, Stewart W. Wilhelm, Jr.
