Steven C. Burke

RED LION- Steven C. Burke, 70, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at his residence. He was the husband of Kay L. (Seiple) Burke. The couple planned to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on August 2nd.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Joe Fauth officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. The service will be livestreamed around 11 a.m. at HeffnerCare.com on Steven’s obituary page.

Born on July 31, 1954 at home in Red Lion, he was a son of the late Frederick R. and Francis (Beaverson) Burke. Steven was a forge press operator for General Dynamics for over 20 years.

Steven was always fixing things. Everything had to be perfect or he wasn’t happy with it. He loved nature and being outside taking care of his property.

Along with his wife, Kay, Steven is survived by two sons, Jeremy Burke and his wife, Carrie of York New Salem and Aaron Burke and his wife, Amanda of East York; three grandchildren, Lily, Lucas and Maverick; sister, Lisa Burke of North York; and step sister, Glenda Baker of Dover. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory Burke and Keith Burke.
