Star Juliene (Altland) Wagner

DOVER- Star Juliene (Altland) Wagner, 64, of Dover Township, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., in York, with a viewing from 6-7:30p.m. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Star was born in Jackson Township on August 18, 1947, daughter of the late Lester James Altland, Sr. and Virgie M. (Jacobs) Klinedinst. She retired as a Team Leader in August 2011 from the Rutter’s Farm Store in Strinestown. She was a member of Thomasville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Star leaves a son, Christopher W. Altland of Dover; three grandchildren, Matthew N. Altland, Joshua N. Altland, and Alexia J. Altland; a great grandson, Dakota J. Altland; three brothers, Franklin Altland, Lester Altland, Jr., and Terry Altland; four sisters, Dolly Hamm, Charlotte Anderson, Nancy Emig, and Juanita Routson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clair Altland and Kenneth Altland and a sister, Evelyn Miller.
