Stanley E. Lentz

YORK- Stanley E. Lentz, 91, died on Monday, May 26, at his nephew John Krall’s residence. He was the husband of the late Louise V. (Sterner) Lentz, who died on April 11, 2007. The couple had been married for 46 years until Louise’s passing.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on July 31, 1933 in Dover Twp., he was the son of the late Rheuben H. and Helen A. (Straley) Lentz. During high school, Stanely began working at Nabisco. He then worked as an assembler at Precision Custom Components for many years until retiring. He was also one of the founders of Straley Farm Supply.

Mr. Lentz enjoyed volunteering at Colonial Manor for over 5 years, was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed participating in many parades for Straley Farm Supply.

Mr. Lentz is survived by two brothers, Paul F. Lentz and Robert I. Lentz; two sisters, Betty L. Newton and Shirley A. Krall; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David H. Lentz.
