Shirley M. Kauffman

BROGUE- Shirley Mae (Posey) Kauffman, 76, of Chanceford Township, passed away Monday July 11, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Larry Richard Kauffman, who passed away in April 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Guinston Presbyterian Church, 14130 Guinston Forge Rd., in Airville. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Moore and Rev. Dr. Chet V. Joines. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion and Thursday from 10-11 a.m., at the church. Burial will be held in Guinston United Presbyterian Cemetery. Mrs. Kauffman was born in Airville on July 30, 1945, a daughter of the late Walter W. and M. Helen (Cordrey) Posey. She retired after over 40 years of service at AutoKraft Box Factory in Red Lion. She enjoyed playing cards, travelling to the mountains, and watching her favorite TV shows, especially westerns. Mrs. Kauffman leaves two sons, Todd B. Kauffman and Troy B. Kauffman, both of Brogue; a granddaughter, Tiffany Kauffman of Red Lion and two sisters, Kathy M. Wales and her husband Dennis of Red Lion and Donna R. Poff of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard D. Kauffman and a sister, Penny L. Joines.
