Shirley C. Ferree

Shirley C. (Brant) Ferree, 96, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 at her residence in Springettsbury Township. She was the wife of the late Sterling H. Ferree.

Born March 16, 1930 in Dallastown, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Lola M. (Walker) Brant.

Mrs. Ferree was a loving and dedicated homemaker for her family.

She was a devoted and faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking, and spending time camping with family and friends. She also gave generously of her time as a volunteer at Shrewsbury Lutheran Home.

Mrs. Ferree is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Stickler and her husband, Stephen and Denise Ferree; three grandchildren, Brent Strickler and his wife, Leslie, Kimberly Viapiano and her husband, Paul and Kelly Cray and her husband, Charles and four great grandchildren, Aliceanna, Meriel, Jemma and Layton.

A Celebration of Life Graveside will be held 11:00AM, Friday, July 24, 2026 at Freysville Cemetery. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Paul N. Frank, Jr., of Emanuel Lutheran Church – Freysville. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is honored to serve the family.
