Sharon G. (Bosserman) Morrison, 72, of York, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at UPMC Memorial Hospital.

Born on May 31, 1954, in York, Sharon was the daughter of the late Carl R. Sr. and Helen E. “Jean” (Newcomb) Bosserman. She was a 1972 graduate of Central York High School, and spent much of her career working as a cook in the food service industry. In later years, she was employed by the VFW. Outside of work, she attended of Highmount Community Church in York and enjoyed a variety of creative pursuits, including painting miniature figurines, embroidery, sewing, and cooking. She also had a special love for plants and took great joy in surrounding herself with them. Above all, Sharon will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

Sharon is survived by her three children, Travis L. Schnetzka and his wife Elizabeth, Tanya L. Greco, and Amie A. Spath; six grandchildren, Marina Benavente, Jasmynn and Aaliyah Reksid, and Dante, Lucian, and Makenna Morrison; her brother, Carl R. Bosserman, Jr.; her sister, Holly L. Belton and her husband Fred, Jr.; two nieces, Aubrey Bosserman and Jaylin Belton; and a nephew, Jonah Belton. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey R. Bosserman.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is honored to serve the family.
