September 8, 1972 – June 24, 2026
With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we celebrate the life of Shanett D. Murray, who was born on September 8, 1972, in York, Pennsylvania. On June 24, 2026, Shanett peacefully entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and beautiful memories that will forever be treasured by all who knew her.
Shanett was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Sherry E. Murray; her father; and her two cherished children, Alisha Penn and Marlin Brookes, who welcomed her into eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her memory her four beloved children: Victoria R. Beaman, Victor R. Beaman, Quyshae Murray, and Charlaya Murray.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Amir Matai Murray, Zhyquin Betha Murray, Damasacuz Matai Murray, Jeramiah Murray, Zaveyun Butler, Azarriah Beaman, Eniyjah Gibbs, James Rice, Solynett Beaman, and Victor Beaman III. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She is also lovingly survived by her special niece, Stephanie Long, who held a place in her heart like a daughter. Shanett leaves behind three brothers Donald Murray Matthew Murray and Robert Murray, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Shanett was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She had a passion for doing hair and a natural talent for fashion and design. She loved helping others look and feel beautiful, and her creativity brought confidence and joy to so many people.
Known for her sweet spirit, generous heart, infectious smile, and vibrant personality, Shanett was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was full of life, love, kindness, and laughter. Her beautiful soul touched countless lives, and her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Shanett's love lives on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Her legacy of strength, grace, beauty, and unconditional love will never be forgotten.
Forever Loved.
Forever Remembered.
Forever Missed.
