Serena A. Mccarraher

NEW CUMBERLAND- Serena A. McCarraher, 84, formerly of Gap, PA, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009. The Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street in Lewisberry is in charge of the arrangements. Services will be private. Miss. McCarraher was born in Coatesville on August 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Edward and Verna (McCully) McCarraher. She was Co-Owner and a Waitress for Gap Hill Inn for over 50 years in Gap, PA; prior to that she was Cosmetologist for The Sun Ray Drug Store in Coatesville. Miss. McCarraher leaves four nephews, Donald Hilton and his wife Terry of New Cumberland, Mace Hilton and his companion, Barbara of Virginia, James Hilton and his wife Kim of Texas, Shawn Hilton and his wife Wendy of Carlisle; and a niece, Roxanne Price and her husband Joe of Mechanicsburg. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd., York, PA 17404.
