Scott A. Johnson

Scott A. Johnson, 61, of Felton, passed away August 20, 2026 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Lucy L. Johnson to whom he was for 8 years.

Born January 12, 1965 in York, he was the son of Bonnie L. (Norris) Johnson of Red Lion and the late Stewart W. Johnson Jr.

He was employed with Fitz & Smith Inc., in Dallastown as a dump truck driver.

He enjoyed building model cars and trucks, especially Ford models, as well as model trains. He was especially proud of his 1995 Ford Mustang and cherished his beloved dog. He found great joy in these simple pleasures and will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.

Scott is survived one daughter, Michele J. Smith and her husband, Josh of Red Lion; one step daughter, Renee M. Yancey and her husband, Josh of Corbin, KY; three grandchildren, Karinne and Gavin Smith and Ally F. Yancey; two sisters, Joann M. Johnson of Red Lion and Linda K. Johnson-Sentz and her husband, Lonnie of Felton; one niece, Camie and, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00AM, Monday, August 31, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 9:00 – 10:00AM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Garden.
