YORK- Scott Alan Guise, 53, of Red Lion, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at home, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the adoring husband of Jill M. (Olsen) Guise and the proud father of his daughter, Carly Guise of Bradenton, FL and son, Shane Guise of Red Lion.

Born October 17, 1972, in York, Scott was the son of the late Larry and Judy (Dehoff) Guise. He was the cherished big brother to Mark (Tanya) Guise of Ephrata and the adoring uncle of their daughters Addison and Olivia. Scott also leaves behind numerous friends, colleagues, and mentees who were drawn to his positive spirit, kindness, humor, and unwavering support.

Scott served as the Director of Athletic Communications at York College, a job that he loved, working tirelessly for more than three decades to promote Spartan athletics. In recognition of that loyalty, he was named the 2025 recipient of the Middle Atlantic Conference Giant Steps Award, honoring those who inspire others through perseverance and service. He also spent close to two decades as a youth baseball coach, serving as a role model to so many of his players. Scott was an avid golfer who loved making summer memories with his family in Ocean City, NJ, and cheering for his beloved Cleveland Guardians.

Scott and Jill were members of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl, Red Lion, PA 17356 is in charge of arrangements.
