Saroj D. Patel

YORK – Saroj D. Patel, 88, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Dinesh Patel.

Born April 8, 1936 in Nadiad, India, Mrs. Patel was the daughter of the late Ambalal and Jayaben Patel. She was the oldest of 9 siblings. Mrs. Patel graduated from college in India with a Bachelor of Arts. She immigrated to the US in 1980 to Philadelphia, PA and worked most recently for a pharmaceutical company in packaging before retiring. 

A Traditional Hindu Funeral Rite will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York.

 In addition to her husband, Mrs. Patel is survived by a son, Hamir Patel; daughter in law, Dipal Patel; granddaughters Dilina and Anisha and their spouses Harsh and Prayag; family dog Leo; 3 brothers and their spouses; and 3 sisters and their spouses. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
