Sandra Lee Berman

YORK- Sandra Lee (Shue) Coker Berman, 90 went to meet her Lord and Savior after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Country Meadows of Leader Heights in York. She was the loving wife of the late Paul A. Berman.

A Celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday October 3, 2026 at Country Meadows Leader Heights in their chapel, 2760 Pine Grove Rd. in York. A Celebration of life service will also be announced at a later date in Warrington, PA.

Mrs. Berman was born in Dayton, OH on January 31, 1936, the daughter of the late LeRoy H. and Virginia Lee (Purdin) Shue. She was the owner and operator of Precision Search, Inc., which was an award-winning IT recruiting business for over 25 years before retiring. 

She was a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Warrington, PA, for more than 40 years, where she also volunteered. In her later years, she was a faithful attendee of services at Country Meadows. She was a 1954 graduate of Fairmont High School in Connecticut and attended Connecticut College, where she pursued her studies while also working as a model. She was an avid reader and worked as a free-lance columnist for the Doylestown Intelligencer. 

Mrs. Berman leaves two daughters, Cheryl C. Leiphart and her husband Larry of Brogue and Cynthia M. Ferry and her husband Stephen of Anahuac, TX; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Jacqueline Griesmeyer and her husband George of Vandalia, OH and Janet Kopta and her husband William of Arizona; and a nephew.
