Sachin Venkatesh

YORK- Sachin Venkatesh, 23, of York Township passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 in Baltimore, MD.

There will be a viewing from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a service at 3 p.m. Murali Shankar Harihara Subramanian will be officiating at the service.

Sachin was born in Baltimore on July 8, 1999. He was the son of Raghavendra Venkatesh and Lakshmi Pasumarthy.

He was a graduate of Hyde High School in Maine and received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 from Penn State University. He was a varsity tennis player, Eagle Scout, Taekwondo Dan 2, and enjoyed scuba diving. He also played piano, mrudangam (Indian drums) and ukulele. He enjoyed baseball and basketball. His favorite sports teams are Ravens and Lakers.

Sachin leaves his parents, a sister, Anisha Venkatesh, an aunt Radhika Madhavan, an uncle Madhavan Rangarao; and two cousins Divya and Adit. He was preceded in death by grandparents, P.S.R Rao, Vijayalakshmi and P.C. Rao.
