Ruth Louise Caldwell

LOCK HAVEN - Ruth Louise (Botsford) Caldwell, 86, a former resident of German Rd., Lock Haven passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 at Haven Place, Lock Haven.

Born January 29, 1937 in Hammersley Fork she was a daughter of the late Fred W. and Ruth F. (Creighton) Botsford.

Ruth was married to Varner Robert Caldwell who died April 5, 1998.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Jersey Shore and a 1956 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

Surviving are a brother, James Ronald Botsford of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by sister Phyllis Patricia Seid.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Jeff Pennycoff of Cornerstone Faith Fellowship officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 – 11:00 at the funeral chapel.

Interment will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
