Ruth N. (Myers) Hare

Dover – Ruth Naomi (Myers) Hare, 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at York Hospital. 

Ruth was born on July 28, 1944, to the late Lewis H. and Bertie (Kilmore) Myers of Bowmansdale. She attended Mechanicsburg High School, graduating in the class of 1962. Ruth went on to obtain her cosmetology license and owned and operated her own salon for over 55 years. Ruth loved the beach and spent many summer vacations in Ocean City, MD or Rehoboth Beach, DE with family and friends. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lauren A. Latshaw of New Bern, NC and Krista J. Lanan of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Riley A. Lanan of San Antonio. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brother Raymond L. Myers, and her son, Michael E. Latshaw, and two grandsons, Corey N. Pott and Seth N. Pott.
