Roy G. “Butch” Jackson, Jr., 75, of Felton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was the husband of Lisa M. (Grim) Jackson with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5-7:00 PM at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. At a later date, a Celebration of Butch's Life will be held at SkyBlu Farms, where we will gather to honor his memory and the impact he had on so many lives.

Butch was born on May 11, 1950 in York, a son of the late Mildred E. (Daugherty) and Roy G. Jackson, Sr. He was a 1968 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Following in his father’s footsteps, Butch began his farming career, establishing himself as a respected beef and grain farmer. He was the founder of SkyBlu Farms in Felton and lived a life deeply intertwined with the land, embodying a spirit of hard work and dedication that characterized his family’s farming legacy. Butch was a visionary when it came to the excavation of the land, demonstrating a unique ability to see the potential in the soil and the landscape around him.

In addition to his farming endeavors, Butch was an active member of his community. He was a member of the Red Lion VFW and the BPO Elks Lodge. His commitment to environmental stewardship was evident as a former Board Member of the York County Conservation District, where he promoted the responsible use of natural resources.

Butch's passion for the outdoors extended beyond farming. An avid hunter, he cherished trips out West and to Canada, where he found joy amidst nature's beauty. His love for machinery was reflected in his hobby of collecting and restoring old Oliver, Case, and Cockshutt tractors. Butch was an enthusiastic member of several antique tractor clubs, showcasing his commitment to preserving agricultural history.

In addition to his wife Lisa, Butch is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Jackson-Wolfram and husband Brian of Red Lion; a son, Andy Jackson of Felton; four grandsons, Travis and Nolan Wolfram, Tanner Jackson and his significant other Caitlyn Lyons and Hunter Jackson and his significant other Cloie Moyer; six great grandchildren, Harper, Colton, Taylor, Joe, Sawyer, and Juniper; two brothers, Donald L. Jackson, Sr. and his wife Ann of Red Lion and Richard E. Jackson of Red Lion; and his sister, Barbara E. Hoffmaster and husband Paul of Willow Valley.

Memorial contributions in memory of Butch may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
