Rosettta Susana (Emenheiser) Ely

WINDSOR- Rosetta S. (Emenheiser) Ely, 88, died Saturday August 29, 2009 at Rest Haven. She was the loving wife of Hiram H. Ely, who passed away December 17, 1987. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday September 1, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, with the Reverend Steven Schmuck officiating. A viewing will be 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ely was born January 30, 1921 in lower Windsor Township, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Alice (Gable) Emenheiser. Mrs. Ely worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Mrs. Ely is survived by two sons, Tommy R. Ely and wife Nancy and Glen R. Ely and wife Fonda all of Windsor; two grandchildren, Tammy Ely of Windsor and Vicki Garner and husband Keith of Windsor; 3 great grand children, Jonathon, Tabitha, and Rose. In addition to her husband, one brother, Earl Emenheiser and two sisters, Velma Myers and Almena Smeltzer preceded her in death.
