Rosalind F. "Roz" Wayne

Rosalind F. "Roz" Wayne, 86, of Dover, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 following a lengthy illness.

Born May 26, 1939 in York, Roz was the daughter of the late Guy B. and Margaret M. (Flemming) Wayne. She had retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue where she was a tax accountant. Roz enjoyed creating drawings and sketches, along with all things art related. Having lived out West many years ago, she loved watching old Western movies to reminisce about the scenic landscapes and horsemanship lifestyle. Roz will be remembered for her giving heart and compassionate ways. 

Roz was surrounded by a "village" of loving neighbors and friends; cousins, Etta Flemming of Michigan and Glen Flemming of New York. She was preceded in death by her brother, Haydn P. Wayne; and a close cousin, Terrance "Terry" Heisler.

Graveside services will be held privately at Greenmount Cemetery with Rev. Emily Sydor officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
