Ronald E. Eppley, Sr.

LEWISBERRY- Ronald E. Eppley, Sr., 79, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg. He was the husband of the late Nikki L. (Slick) Eppley.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry with Certified Celebrant Allison Duke officiating. A viewing will be from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens.

Born on May 26, 1945 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Maurice L. and Marion (Davis) Eppley. Ronald worked for Bergelectric as a tool and die maker for several years until starting his own game call business, Pioneer Enterprises.

Ronald had a love for the outdoors including hunting and riding his John Deere tractors. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Mr. Eppley is survived by his son, Brian S. Eppley and his wife, Elisabeth of Mechanicsburg; nephew, Jeff Harbold; and niece Debbie Zearing and her husband, Bill of Halifax. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald E. Eppley, Jr.; and his sister, Dorothy Harbold.
