Rolland I. Reitenauer

DOVER- Rolland I. "Butch" Reitenauer, 80 died Saturday July 26, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Charlotte R. (Hummel) Reitenauer. A graveside service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Butch was born in Reading on December 2, 1927, a son of the late Leeman and Florence (Gernert) Reitenauer. He also served in the US Navy. He retired in 1989 from Roadway Express in Reading. In addition to his wife, Butch is survived by a son, Randy Reitenauer of Oley, PA; a step-son, Scott Hoover and his wife Lisa of Reinholds, PA; two step-daughters, Pamela Gehman and her husband Barry of Denver, PA and Patti Sweigart and her husband Kenneth of York; four step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald Reitenauer and his wife Michelle of CA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary.
