Roberta Scully

WILKES-BARRE- Roberta Scully, 76, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday morning after a lengthy illness. Born in Wilkes-Barre, on August 9, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lucy (Davis) Dietz. She worked as a seamstress at Leslie Fay, Wilkes-Barre. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John W. Scully, who passed away February 10, 2007; sisters, Dannice Stetz, Ruthann Novak. She is survived by her son, Bill Scully, Wilkes-Barre, daughter, Joan Hamm and her husband, Mike, Hanover Twp., three grandchildren Ryan Horn, Larksville; Greg Horn, Hanover Twp.; Bill Scully, Wilkes-Barre; Great Granddaughter, Graylyn Horn, Hanover Twp.; brother, Robert Dietz; sisters, Joanne McCann, Ellen Dwyer, Lucille Holzman, Donna Weber; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Albert Cemetery Mountain Top, PA. The Reverend Carol E. Coleman of the Luzerne United Methodist Church will be officiating. Family and friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
