Robert T. Wren

WILKES-BARRE - Robert T Wren, 86, passed away Friday, December 25, 2009, at Golden Living Summit, Wilkes-Barre. Born on April 26, 1923, he was a son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Linker) Wren. Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during World War II. He worked as a steeple jack in the Wilkes-Barre area after his discharge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann (Walitis); a daughter, Diana Wren; a grandson, Kevin Long; brothers Harold Wren and Ralph Wren; sister, Dorothy Patrick; and former wife Jeanne C (Cronauer). He is survived by his loving children, sons, John (Mary) Wren, San Antonio, TX, Robert (Ruth Ann) Wren, Richard Wren and Anthony (Charlene) Wren, both of Wilkes-Barre; daughters, Karen (Walter) Krolikowski, Betty Jeanne (Chris) Sincavage, Deborah (Harrison) Gibson, Shirley (Wayne) Kogoy, and Tina (Mike) Tkach, all of the Wilkes-Barre area; stepson William Solomon, Wilkes-Barre; brother Richard (Barbara) Wren, Wilkes-Barre; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
