Robert Allen "Bob" Priddy

YORK – Robert Allen Priddy, 85, formerly of Columbia, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his home. He was the loving husband of Judy C. (Blankenship) Priddy and the couple shared 61 beautiful years of marriage.

Born May 3, 1940 in Nashville, Indiana, Bob was a son of the late Gilbert L. and Edna (Arterburn) Priddy. Bob was a graduate from Purdue University, receiving degrees in Industrial Engineering and in Business. Bob was a proud Staff Seargent for the Air National Guard and the Reserves of the United States Air Force.

Bob was an avid member of First Christian Church in Columbus Indiana where he and Judy attended. In his free time, Bob enjoyed golfing at the Outdoor Country Club, as well as Otter Creek in Columbus, IN, along with admiring landscape paintings. He was very meticulous about his lawn, and loved cutting grass. He also had a fascination for clocks and watches. Above all else, Bob loved his family.

In addition to his beloved wife, Bob is survived by his daughter, Andrea Raffensberger and her husband, Brian; two grandchildren, Joshua, and Corey; a brother, Ralph Priddy and his wife Kate; a sister, Margaret Hatter and her husband Harold; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, bob is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Wolka.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements.
