Robert R. Penn, Jr.

YORK – Robert R. Penn, Jr., 84 passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at his home. He was the loving husband of the late, Marguerite L. Penn.

Born September 6, 1939 in Provincetown, MA, Mr. Penn was a son of the late Robert R. Penn, Sr. and Margaret (Post) Penn. After graduating from high school, Mr. Penn worked for Potomac Electric Power Company and retired from there as an electrician. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army. In his free time, Mr. Penn enjoyed photography, and painting. He was generous in his giving to his grandson’s school, Holy Trinity Catholic School. And above all else he loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Penn is survived by his children, Michael Penn and his wife Jan of Myersville, MD, and Judy Penn and her significant other Charles Brown; four grandchildren; Amber, Ryan, Noah, and Matthew Penn; and a great grandson, Kameron Hoskin. In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Penn is preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Penn; a brother, Rodger; and a sister, Rodha.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
